Description
The Cover protects the engine block and cylinder heads from cracking during freezing weather.
HOW IT WORKS
Soft plugs seal off machined holes in castings. The holes provide a way for rough castings to be cleaned out. These plugs will push out of the castings when the coolant freezes to prevent damaging the casting.
WHY IT MATTERS
The plug is essential in protecting the block during harsh, cold weather conditions. The plug prevents the block from cracking, helping it to function correctly.
