The Dust Trap collects the larger and heavier dust and dirt contaminants to increase the air filter’s efficiency.
HOW IT WORKS
The dust trap snares heavy dust particles. Trapping larger debris initially allows the air filter element to trap the finer dirt and dust particles.
WHY IT MATTERS
By trapping the larger dust particles, the dust trap helps the air filter to be more effective by not clogging it up. Instead of focusing on the heavy particles, the air filter can now only focus on the small particles. By doing this, the bowl allows the filter to be more efficient in preventing contamination of the air system and the engine overall.
